RecommendedI've been good ng there for a few weeks now and the food is absolutely terrific tonight I got the surf and turf shrimp but had the customize it with mixing it with the carne asada fries and I tell you the made it exactly how I expected it to come out.
I had been going for quite some time, but over the last 6-8 months the service and food are absolutely unacceptable. I'm not sure if there are new owners since Covid hit, but Fri was my last time driving out of my way for tasteless poor quality food and subpar service.
We have been been eating regularly at Elena's for years. The food is good but the customer service has gotten bad in recent months. We love their salsa, so we typically order 4oz cups of our favorites. Over the past few months, there have been several times when the salsa order at the drive-thru has been incorrect or even missing. On multiple occasions, we had to flag down an employee to correct it. Today, our salsa order was missing yet again. I flagged down an employee. I finally made it to the taco shop everyone has told me about!!! Elena’s Taco Shop has been right down the street from me all this time. You have to check them out!!! I got the shrimp tacos. Delicious!
I resent any place that calls itself a restaurant being so cheap as to serve my wife and my orders placed together on a torn in half styrofoam sandwich carton. In addition, the things they call street tacos would embarrass any street vendor I have done business with. The taco had, maybe at most, a tablespoon of meat on it. Extremely frustrating that restaurants these days are incapable of reading or double checking that the food going out matches the food on the ticket, especially Elena’s taco shop. I have items I didn’t order as well as several tacos ordered outright missing from the order. Extremely disappointed, frustrated, cannot and will not recommend and would advise to spend your money and time elsewhere.
