Dr. Barnes office is not good for new patients. You need a referral first. Then the doctor wants You have to have Bloodwork before seeing the doctor for the first time. Which they DO NOT tell you when you make the first appointment. Then they email you saying that you need bloodwork from the doctor that referrals you to Dr. Barnes office. Which the referral doctor CAN NOT do. Plus, I called then and I was on the phone for an hour. And they never answered their phones. So, I left a message and they only texted me back. This Dr. might be a good Rheumatologist, but since no one ever answers the phone you cannot get an appointment. My PCP sent in a referral two months ago. I've called 4 or 5 times been on hold for 20-35 minutes, also left voice message and still waiting to receive a call back. If she does not want any more patients, or is too booked they should leave a message stating she is no longer accepting patients. So frustrating trying to get in to see a Dr. to help you figure out what's going on with you.
I have been trying to call this office and get an appointment. The first try I waited 45 minutes, my second call is now running on 56 minutes. I left a message for a call back and never heard anything.
Dr. Barnes is an excellent rheumatologist and my husband has been her patient for many years, HOWEVER, the support staff is horrible. Calls on hold (today for 55 minutes) and never answered as well as messages left for refills NEVER answered!!!!
