GREAT FOOD This restaurant was rather difficult to find, we were not local, we got lost a bit. Luckily we did not give up the search , we had the phone number and called for direction, and the result was quite worthy of our effort . This restaurant was lovely. great food and reasonable price My family and I were surprised at how delicious and economical this restaurant was. Would highly recommend to friends and family. They were also very friendly and inviting and lovely atmosphere.
Wonderful, unique food Elements is one of a few restaurants in the Almaden area that offers great food at a very reasonable price. The French/Vietnamese fusion cooking works wonderfully and we always leave very satisfied. A family favorite is the beef tenderloin-wrapped asparagus and the shrimp and papaya salad. The wine selection isn't bad either. The decor is tastefully done and the staff is friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend eating here. We always come back for more.

Good Neighborhood Find This is the third restaurant incarnation for this location, and the best of the three. Elements has consistently good food, especially the Vietnamese inspired dishes. They offer a nice variety of appetizers and specials. We have been to Elements many times over the last 1-1/2 years and have never been disappointed.

Elements This place started as "Umunums" and has changed to "Elements". The good news is that they now have a kids menu. This place has an extremely convenient location. The food is good, but not as good as some places in Los Gatos. I would go to Elements though because I can feel ok about my kids being home alone. PROS: Great location, good food CONS: Nothing else nearby to do
Great local restaurant It's nice to finally have a good local restaurant in Almaden. The decor is lovely and warm. Service is friendly and prompt. The dishes we tried were all very good (yummy spring roll appetizer), and the selection is a nice mix of Vietnamese inspired dishes with more traditional offerings such as pasta and rack of lamb. The presentation was lovely as well. We're planning to bring the kids with us next time as they have a good children's menu. Prices are very reasonable.
KID friendly This place was far better than we expected. Great food and menu. Excellent kids choices and great service.
