Element 47, is named after silver, the 47th element on the periodic table. But what this restaurantgivesyou definitely surpasses silver and reaches gold standard. Their rotating menus bring out the best flavors of every season, with every course being well thought out. The food is mainly modern American fare with some Italian and French influences, with plenty of focus on seafood options as well. They also have an extensive wine and cocktail list, which the servers won't mind explaining and recommending one that goes best wi... read more

Came for a breakfast meeting which was largely interrupted throughout by the food being horrible and needing to be exchanged. The avocado toast was disgusting. Like store bought guacamole on thick cold un toasted bread with added nonsense ingredients and cold poached eggs. The lamb and eggs was some sort of lamb mush, awful. Very disappointing and distracting. Breakfast should not be so complicated. Staff was accomodating.
I'll be generous and give them 2.5 stars. There is an important caveat to this review, as both of us are vegan. We called ahead and were assured that vegan options were available. Indeed, two weeks ago they initiated their vegan menu. The initial bottom line; if you eat animals, many of the reviews sing their praises. If you are vegan, please don't spend $30 on an unimpressive, over-ripe, slice of an heirloom tomato. This restaurant continues the entitled absurdity (just perfect for a town which reportedly has 100 billionair... read more
This was our favorite restaurant in Aspen! We had a server named Gerino and he was fantastic. But overall, the other people that helped service our table were great as well. We started with deviled eggs and olives, then shared the sliders for a lighter meal. Everything was outstanding. The only thing that would have enhanced the sliders would be to add cheese but other than that I would highly recommend this restaurant. We sat in the bar area for quicker service. Very nice environment.
One good dish, the rest forgettable.
Nice decor, but awful food.
