It took forever to get our food and it was not good. The prices were high for the quality and amount of food you receive.
My husband and I wanted a Bloody Mary on the holiday weekend. After we sat down we were told they didn’t have their liquor license. So we decided to not be rude and stay and order breakfast. It was terrible. I ordered cinnamon roll French toast it was still frozen in the middle and ordered scrambled eggs and got over easy, ick. My husband ordered hamburger steak. We were traveling past Albert Lea on the interstate and decided to stop and find a local diner for breakfast. We found Elbow Room. They didn’t disappoint! The food is amazing with huge portions and a great price! The cook had to be the server and cook, and managed to do it with a smile!! The other people eating there were local and made us feel so welcome like old friends. We recommended Elbow Room to our daughter who lives in Minnesota if she ever gets to Albert Lea. We will definitely stop again when we are in the area!!
