Dr. Garber is fine. It’s the admin. I called and asked if they took my insurance, gave them my ID. They said yes. I saw them for months and inquired about billings etc. I then got a MASS bill at the end of the year, despite my inquires, showing that they were out of network. Never once did they inform me of this or bill me per visit. I filed a complaint. So get EVERYTHING in writing with them.
I have been searching for a doctor for my condition for a while, I'm 24 and live 3 hours away, but i finally found a doctor! I called the referral office to make sure the doctor would work. I was so relieved and excited when I got it and immediately called. The woman on the phone put me on hold 3 times (no problem at all) but it just hung up after 5 minutes each time. Everytime I come in I wait a minimum of an hour. At my last visit I waited two hours to be seen. That was my last straw. I don’t know how any of the patients are seen without cancelling their entire day of plans or work. Dr Garber is knowledgeable in her field but it’s not worth it anymore. I gave them more than enough chances but there is absolutely no reason to have to wait 1-2 hours at every visit. There is definitely something wrong with how the office is ran at this point.
Dr. Garber is very knowledgeable about her field. However: 1. Her front desk staff made a dozen HIPAA violations as I sat waiting 45 minutes for her. (This has happened very time I go in.) Other patients in the waiting room look horrified. 2. Callers are on speakerphone sharing their personal medical information as well as social security numbers, phone numbers, and insurance information with the front desk, which is broadcasting the call throughout the office. 2. Dr. GARBER. Is amazing. She cares and follows through. Her pedigree and dedication to her practice and patients is unparalleled. She is at the top of her field. It is a blessing to have her caring for me.
