(Edited Review) It’s simple: if you don’t know how to do something or don’t feel confident in your abilities, you should be honest with your customers. Gabriela wasted much of my time when she could have just been honest. She said she would fix it and made it worse. This person does not respect your time or opinion. She often double books. So an appointment that should last 90 minutes can be up to 4 hours or more. As a mom, I felt really disrespected and taken advantage of by this business. 2 days before Christmas. I really hate to write this review but it’s the second time I leave this salon absolutely hating my hair. If you want a hair dresser who completely disregards what you ask for and just does whatever they want instead, this is your kind of place. In the first picture listed, you will see the color Gabby gave me. I loved it. I asked for the same thing or other similar options. But I was very clear to state that I did not want it to be darker. I can’t say enough good things about Gabriela. She’s an absolute genius and true magician with hair. She’s insanely knowledgeable, listens, and makes you feel totally comfortable the whole time. If I’ve ever wanted to tweak something, she’s on it, no ego, just wants you to leave happy. She also works really fast while also paying close attention to detail, so I’m not in the salon for an unreasonably long time but the final result is flawless. THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! She carefully, gently and diligently spent 4.5 hours lifting and dyeing my sisterlocs to the exact shade of red that I wanted. I’m still stunned! Gabriela KNOWS HER STUFF and I couldn’t have felt any safer than I did sitting in her chair. She listened first in consultation, addressed all my concerns, assured me that my hair’s health is of priority to her.
