I am extremely disappointed with my experience working with this agency. I was assigned a steady case Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM, and I relied on those hours as part of my regular income. Without any proper notice or professional communication, I was suddenly told not to return because the previous aide contacted the family directly and asked to come back. Don't apply here after I took the drug test... the day of orientation came and when I finished filling out some paperwork when I was about to enter the classes a brunette supervisor with short hair came and told me that I had to accept the 20 hours and if I didn't accept it I should leave because they don't have more hours... it was a waste of time... elara caring only has 20 hours look for another agency.6/26/25

Unprofessional Instructor and Poor Experience at Alera Caring Agency I visited Alera Caring Agency at 175 Fulton Avenue, Hempstead, NY 11550 to complete my HHA renewal class. I had already completed and submitted all the required documents including my physical, drug test, and fingerprinting prior to attending.
