Dr. Elam is expensive and doesn't communicate about the cost for procedures. His misdiagnosis of an issue resulted in an abscessed tooth that had to be extracted. The implant he provided now has to be replaced due to poor quality. He has refused to cover the cost of fixing the implant since I left the practice after insurance changed.

Dr. Fleming and his staff are professional, friendly, and they do great work. My whole family sees Dr. Fleming and no matter the age or issue, he takes great care of his patients. They do not push unnecessary procedures. Their waiting room has great magazine and bottled water.

My first consultation with Dr. Elam lasted for hours and resulted in missing an appointment with the hygienist for the cleaning I wanted. I went back for a filling that was loose and was given an x-ray that was declined by insurance. That x-ray cost $400 and even though I let EVERYONE in the office know that I was on a limited income, the bill was mine. I would not recommend him to anyone. Although I have insurance coverage, I explained to Dr. Elam's staff that I was on a fixed income. It did not stop them from performing a $425 x-ray that was not covered by my insurance. I should have known from the 1st appointment, that lasted more than 3 hours, but forced me to miss my cleaning, their services were questionable. Now I have an outrageous bill that I will be forced to pay. Save yourself the pain in your mouth and wallet. Find another service provider.

I was very concerned about my smile not looking real. Dr Elam and his staff did a wonderful job. My smile is beautiful.

very poor. Didn't consult me on what work he was doing. Lack of care to patients. Large practice not really concerned about patients

I met Dr. Bob when I was working at the Nashville Health Dept. He got a job in the lab. This was before he was a dentist. I was a patient of his father and so was my wife. I can not tell you how many times Dr. Bob has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me with my dental problems, emergencies, and so on. He and his very helpful staff have always been very professional while maintaining a fun atmosphere. I recently had the pleasure of receiving a bridge and crowns on all my upper teeth. The best ever! Extremely ethical, creative, highly skilled, caring. He saved me from gum unnecessary gum surgery another dentist wanted to do which would have cost tons of money and pain. (This was years ago - no problems since.) He has saved teeth for my husband and myself that any other dentist would have probably given up on. He is hands down a dream dentist.
