It was mediocre at best. There are other Mexican restaurants that are much better. Chips were too thick for me and salsa was tasteless. Had been here before but seems as though place has changed and not for the better
Service was good, staff very friendly and the food was excellent.
Great little patio, good food. Great strong skinny margaritas. We have been to El Zocolo about 10 times now and pretty much get the same thing each time. Chips and salsa are good and I like that they are brought to the table complimentary. I usually get the chicken tacos and my fiancé the shrimp tacos. Both are great. Every time we get their skinny margaritas and we are happy. Margs are strong but good. The service is good and they sometimes have a live band or mariachi. No servers, couldn't keep an open tab, taco vendor took his buddies orders before people actually in line. Will never visit that shithole again.
