Amazing place!!!
El Tradicional just moved to a beautiful new location at 1800 Tower Drive. The restaurant is EXCEPTIONAL! The food and drinks are spectacular. The service incredible. The new space is unbelievable with several separate dining rooms, a beautiful bar area, a cozy fireplace, a wall of windows looking out on The Glen and lots of tvs to watch your favorite team(s). Tradicional is a must! The mezcal old fashion with a skull ice cube is terrific.
I took my family to this restaurant for dinner, and we couldn’t have been more disappointed. While the atmosphere and service were both good, the food was a major letdown. Everything we ordered was very basic and lacked flavor. The biggest disappointment, however, was the portion size. I ordered the Tampiqueña, which is the most expensive item on the menu at $38. New bar is awesome. We would go occasionally to the old location across the street and always sat at the bar and it was very good. The new bar is even better. Food tonight was outstanding as usual, had quesidillas, taco salad, and guac and chips. The first thing that comes to mind is fresh. Everything is fresh and tasty. The bartender Steve was great, he went through the tequilla list and recommended a great margarita. Great to have a dependable neighborhood place to eat and hang!
