Terrific food and awesome drinks! Miguel was my bartender and he was great! Made the best drinks with fun, friendly service. Clean restaurant with an outstanding staff!
worst service I have had in my 67 yrs. It took 45 mins to get our food and when our food arrived, five out of six meal were cold. Won't do that again.
With so many other, better, mexican places to eat I always feel bad eating here. But they have big tables and I get coupons so I'm here more than I like to admit. Easy parking.
This is a nice place to eat on cannery row. They have their own, free parking, the window seats are right over the water where you can see the local sea-life, and the food is pretty decent. The wait can be a bit long, but it's worth it. On this trip, we watched quite a few dolphins swim by as we had dinner.
Possibly the Best Americanized Mexican restuarant in LA, Perfect from salsa to desserts – Acapulco is an Americanized take on Mexican food. I don't really like authentic Mexican food, so I can't compare Acapulco to the many authentic Mexican restaurants in LA. But compared to other similar Mexican restuarant chains El Torito and Acapulco win hands down. Gross – BEWARE VEGETARIANS......the rice is made with chicken broth, however, the refried beans are not made with lard. BEWARE, they have FLIES......the dining area was swarming with them and it was unsettling to think they might have gotten to my dinner before I did. The manager blamed their presence on the constant crowd on Easter Sunday. Guess they live there now as he didn't seem too concerned.
Nasty service – Yesterday, I went with my family. The food was great, but the service was horrible. He didn't give my daughter an ice cream as is promised with meal, and he included his tip ($12for lousy service!)
Best Happy Hour – Ah! Finally some great service, food, drinks, and what a deal!! My friends and I all love this place and couldn't be happier. : )
TACO Tuesdays! – I have gone to this El Toritos on a Tuesday during happy hour and had a blast with some friends from work. They have great happy hour prices and a nice vibe. Try Taco Tuesday!
