Our Family has been serving freshly made Mexican Food since 1968. We offer traditional dishes to Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free Options. We use only quality ingredients and cook our food in Canola, Olive or Coconut Oils. Lard is only used for our Pork & Beef Tamales. Our Menu offers a variety of options. Enchiladas, Tacos, Burritos, Chicken Mole, Caldo de Pollo, Menudo, Cactus, Huevos Rancheros, Chorizo, Fajitas and many more. Including American & Mexican Breakfast on Saturday Mornings.

We stopped in after Zoo lights Saturday. Our waitress was spread thin but did everything to provide fast, friendly service. She was so accommodating and pleasant. As usual the food was ample and fabulous. Worth the 2 hour drive to visit.

Finally went back to El Tipico after becoming vegan and I am so glad we did!! Every single plate there can be made vegan! We got puffed tacos with potatoes and rice and beans for filling. The puffed shells are AMAZING! So delicious! The potatoes were perfect, the refried beans were to diiiiie for!! I already can’t wait to go back! Oh, and I got vegan Mexican hot chocolate to go, and it was perfect! Definitely recommend for vegans or anyone that loves Mexican food!
