Went to lunch for the first time ever last week with three other people. I thought the food was excellent, and the refried beans were especially delicious compared to any other Mexican restaurant I've been to, light and fresh tasting and I also had a shredded beef enchilada, a chicken taco and a chili relleno, and they were all excellent. Huge margaritas. I wish we had one in the town where I live! Nice comfortable booths, my sister-in-law loved the remodeling of the restaurant.
The food and staff is great, but I don't like the new remodel. They took away the old, quaint Mexico feel for something generic and modern. They also made the booths smaller. My friends and I were very uncomfortable in the booth and we had never been in the past. They're much smaller, maybe to accommodate an extra booth at the end. That's a shame.
