El Tarasco is a great value El Tarasco makes quality Mexican food, yet the prices are more like Del Taco than El Torito. Put El Tarasco and El Torito food in a blind taste test, and El Tarasco will win more often than not. Yet, you can order twice as much, and still have money left over. The Chicken tostada is the hot ticket, but there really isn't anything bad. It's all good, and all reasonably priced.
ok prices for lots of food Of all the local Mexican joints, Im not so sold on El Tarasco. I know that many people disagree but I find the food a tad too greasy and bland. Not awful, though.
Home of the Wet Taco! This hole in the wall mexican place is great. Home of the wet taco, you'll be coming back for more and telling all your friends. About a block from the beach, you'll want to find your way up to the roof to sit and scarf down. PROS: dude ... wet taco. Enough said CONS: Small area.
