Our first experience with El Taco Bar left a lot to be desired. We ordered a fish taco, carne asada burrito, 3 rolled tacos and chips + salsa verde. Good thing I ordered the salsa verde because this place did not include additional salsas with our order. Food was not memorable at all. The carne asada burrito lacked carne asada and what carne asada was in it was tough and greasy. The burrito had way too much pico and guacamole and very little meat. The tacos were good but not great. The tortillas are freshly made and guacamole was good. The carne asada mulita I had was very good . Wife had the shredded roll tacos and said they were really good.
Lake Elsinore store is way better than Temecula. I ordered to go from inside the store because I was gonna have a beer while they were making the food. Plus I planned on taking a couple bites before I left. They never called my order and when I went to the counter she acted confused.. needless to say my food was cold. This store really needs help. Lake Elsinoe is way better. I’ve never had issues there.
It reminds me of a taco shop that wants to be a real taco shop. I was truly disappointed with the food.
This was my first time here. Loved the Poblano burrito which had a great combination of ingredients and a sauce that tied everything together and was the perfect finishing touch!! The carne asada was tender and had amazing flavor. Excited to come back and try their other menu items to include their salsas.
