Been going to this el taco for 30 Years. Went tonight and was ignored at the outside window to order and stood there for more then 10 min and no one helped us out only the drive thru. Really shitty service for awhile now
I actually enjoyed the food until my most recent visit.When completing my meal I found a hair in my food that most certainly was not mine. The service until this time, while not exactly unfriendly, has never been terribly friendly either. These combined experiences tell me that this establishment is poorly managed despite having otherwise good food (as long as there is no hair in it). I am so disgusted that I can never go back.
I been going there for 30 years, but we stop going for a while. Due to the quantity on the food and the bad service. After giving it another try, we ordered two chiles rellenos and was very disappointed. The word says it all RELLENO and my chiles had no cheese inside. We only ate one and save the other to take it back and cut it in front of the manager, but because I stayed with no car I wasn't able to take it. When I pulled into the parking lot I wasn't even sure it was open, until I saw the neon OPEN sign. I got the green quesadilla, as I've always loved it since I used to get it 30 years ago at the Downey location. I've only been to this location a few times, and this will be my last. I am so disappointed with the portion size. You will spend a LOT of money to get a full belly. The quesadilla was SO small - it was smaller than a 59-cent burrito from Del Taco. Not friendly people working there at all afraid to ask for anything. Sad excuse for service and food.
