The frozen Margaritas are awesome and everything I've had to eat had been delicious! My moms favorite is Chicken fajitas, me well Carne Asada and Shrimp Diablo top my list but I have had many other great meals! Thanks to Raul for always being a great host.
Since the "New" Owners took over El Sombrero (aka:The Hat) - it has been such a wonderful experience. The remodel and cleanliness is amazing. The waitstaff and food has improved so much. They have "NEW " items on their menu (and going to have more) and they still have our old favorite entrées too. The "NEW" selection of tequila is -out of this world. The food is amazing. Can't say enough. Plus not too expensive. Such attention to detail.
Went yesterday and saw the waiter who used to take care of us when Rick was the owner. We really liked him a lot. He was not serving I'm not sure why? We thought the food was not as Good as previous owners. My daughter ordered Carne Asada and I had Chile relinos. They were just ok Didn't like the chips . Service was OK owners were pleasant. The decor is really nice. Not sure if I'll return.
Our meal was fantastic, as always. If you like carne asada, this is the place for you! Fried ice cream for dessert was better than anywhere else, bar none!
Amazing place, delicious food and very nice personal. Absolutely recommend this restaurant 😌
