Don't Bother While this restaurant is a local landmark, has a loyal following and the atmosphere and staff are great the caliber of the food for the money leaves A LOT to be desired. I have had authentic Mexican in Mexico to Taco Bell and everything in between and unfortunately El Sombrero ranks right at the bottom of the list in terms of flavor, texture and overall quality. El Sombrero This Mexican restaurant is a Juneau favorite. Great food, great atmosphere, and great prices make it one of Juneau's best. They serve a great variety of tasty Mexican cuisine, with friendly service and a good downtown location. Definitely go for one of their specialty burritos-delicious!
