This place is amazing. The atmosphere, service, and food are insanely good. We got the filfil, ghmous sampler, chicken freekeh maqlouba, arayes, and arroz chaufa and it was all soooo delicious. I'm going to dream about that filfil for days. My friends and I traveled from hours away to visit for a concert and I'm really going to have to come back to DC just to come back here. Wow wow where do I start.. I was blown away by the very warm well-thought-out artistic cosy maximalist decor and ambiance..which was enough to feel like I'd been teleported to South America, to a wonderful tight-knit multigenerational family-home; but then I had a taste of the Camarones al Ajillo, the Ceviche Ahi Tuna Tiradito and a sip of Atardecer and OMG. That's it, no more words. Except maybe that there were sooo many more dishes I wanted to try and so many cocktails... and I can't wait for my next visit!
