I'm a 1st generation Mexican American from Stockton, California grew up in a house hold where my mother cooked rather than going out to eat. Long story short I walked in the place Music was playing Banda of course made me feel at home, my wife ordered two tacos al la cart, I had the Carne Asade and I must say, It felt like I never left California! Have wanted to go to El Rancho Grande for years -- finally made it there, and wasn't at all disappointed! I'll be dreaming of the queso fundido with poblanos for months. The enchiladas mole poblano were so rich, complex and savory-sweet with chocolate and spices that I can truly say I've never had anything quite like them before.
