My wife and I have been systematically checking out the 20 or so Mexican restaurants in Auburn and El Ranchero is one of the best so far. Great house Margarita (not too sweet), good chunky salsa (a bit mild), and generous and tasty entrees - my wife had the carnitas and I had the enchiladas verdes. Attentive and friendly service and a clean pleasant service.
