Really authentic Mexican food! This restaurant is Mexican-like decor,,,cute and private areas. There is plenty of room for customers, the service was good, and food was excellent! The nachos and fahitas are outstanding....be sure and get the cheese dip- it is delicious! Alcohol is available. Great food at a great price!
My Favorite in the Area! I really love El Rancherito, and only wish the area I live in now had such a great Mexican restaurant! The service is usually always good. Their is a large variety of food options on their menu--pretty much anything and everything you would want at a Mexican restaurant! Their fried ice cream is to die for! As said before, they do give complimentary chips and salsa at each table. The salsa is some of the best I've had at a restaurant before! This place definitely does not disappoint!
Perfect mexican restaurant El Rancherito is everything you want a mexican restaurant to be. Wonderful food at reasonable prices. The service is always lightening fast at lunch time! Very friendly family atmosphere.
Good Mexican Entrees This restaurant offers a wide variety of choices at reasonable prices. They also give each table complimentary chips and salsa---some of which really has a bite!! Service is usually good and the entrees are good. Sometimes the margaritas are very good...but that depends on who makes them! This restaurant usually does not disappoint!
They've been shut down SOOO many times over the same things! How hard is it to wash your hands and not be nasty when serving food to the public?
Was yelled at by an obese old white woman, other then that everything was amazing!! Great food, my friends enjoyed the drinks!! Highly recommend as long as their are no old fat white ladies yelling!!!!
I used to love it here. One of the waiters (who I had every time) really seemed to dislike me. He wouldn't even look at me the entire time. He would make great eye contact with my friends, but never look or speak to me. It made me feel weird and I'll never go back. The food and atmosphere is great, I was a loyal customer there since moving to WIU. I'd just prefer to not be treated like crap.
Bathrooms can be a bit better attended they were very filthy. The service was excellent and the food was scrumptious.
