Bathrooms on left wing of the Hospital are disgusting dirty! At only 6:00 am you would expect clean toilets. In my opinion a bathroom in a hospital represents the cleanliness of the entire hospital. There was dried up pee stains on the seat as well as the floor. Here are some pictures of how gross they are even after I tried to wipe them down with a towel. Needless to say I did not use that gross toilet!
I've had two joint-replacement surgeries at this hospital and have received excellent care from the CNAs, RNs and MDs. Unfortunately, I was assaulted by an employee while lying in bed recovering from my most recent operation. After the incident occurred, I was informed that he had done this to other patients who were under his care. The hospital has not satisfactorily responded to the incident, so I will be filing a report with both the police and the state board. My son was a patient. Attending medical staff was satisfactory. Billing has been an utter nightmare!!! I never received a statement, just phone calls to let me know my account was past due. I was then told my address had been submitted incorrectly. I paid through the Patient Payment Portal and payments were lost(?). I am now receiving phone calls from a second billing service for the same visit, still no original statement mailed to my residence. The hospital is convenient, we live very near Murchison. I've had to several surgeries over the past couple of years. El Paso Specialty Hospital has been there every step of the way and their staff has helped me recover and regain my feet. They have excellent doctors, I recommend them.
