I <3 the harp guy first off, one of my fav. places. the nachos with extra jalapinos are a must. my son is a huge fan of the alcupulco soup. never really had alot of the "dinners" always stuck to the combos. A pitcher of margaritas is also a must! The guy with the harp has been there for years and he plays all kinds of music and sells his cds. call ahead to make sure he will be there.
Real authentic Mexican El Norte is a great Mexican restaurant.... excellent food, especially their mole sauce!
Not bad for what you can find in North Jersey – Well ok yes I've eaten better... but you know what... for $9.95 all you can eat on Monday's and pretty fresh chips to start... it's not bad. I've only been there once... had the Enchiladas Suizas.. and I have to say that I'd go back again. Since leaving NYC I really haven't found Mexican I like... or even tolerable (and I'm sure NYC mexican isn't real either)... but I'll go back to El Norte... even if I only eat one plate (who can eat more than 1 plate w/ 3 enchiladas and rice ... read more
