I brought my motorcycle for a simple oil change and they recommended replacing the front brakes so I approved it. When I picked up the bike the front brake lever was completely loose and you could pull it all the way to the grip with almost no braking. They told me this was normal with new brakes and said I should just pump the lever and ride a few miles. The bike felt unsafe so I went straight home.
