We stayed one night in a garden view level room that was very comfortable, a very nice queen bed and excellent recently remodeled bath. The greeting was warm and helpful. Secured parking and accessibility very good. Nice breakfast is offered and great coffee. The location is classic 1890s - 1910 Detroit, safe neighborhood and terrific access to the stadiums and arena for the professional sports, bars and avant garde restaurants. Highly recommend!
A beautiful place to stay downtown. The staff were very friendly and it felt very clean, always welcoming. I love the blend of old and new.
Wow, we LOVED our stay at El Moore! First off, free parking in a gated parking lot that went around the estate. We felt really secure and safe the entire time we were there. We stayed in the Moore Suite and it had lots of room- full kitchen and amenities. Bathroom and shower was clean. The bed is a full I believe- maybe it's a queen. We're used to a king so that would be the only thing to consider but the bed was comfortable and had a nice overhead fan and box fan in the closet! El Moore Lodge is our favorite! So much so, that we want to live there!! We absolutely adore everything it has to offer. The residents and staff are amazing! The rooms are perfection. The grounds are stunning. The breakfast is incredible. We can’t say enough about El Moore. It’s not a place to stay; it’s an experience We always have the same review.
