This place is an absolute charm! The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming! This hotel has so much personality. The Continental breakfast was delish. Our room was very clean, the location was perfect, and we got so many tips and recommendations for food. They made my first time to Detroit a memorable one! I'm glad I stumbled across this boutique hotel vs booking with a big chain. If there's one thing I could suggest is to have a little ice making machine for ice.

The El Moore is a fantastic bed and breakfast-type of hotel. The staff is amazingly friendly, and their pride in the community the El Moore has created, self evident. Very clean rooms and delicious continental breakfast. Great location in a really great city. I highly recommend.
Warm staff and homey accommodations. Michel, Matt P, and Harriet were thoughtful and remembered my name. Great location to do a lot of different activities. Recommend for anyone looking to get a feel for the city
Best place to stay when visiting Detroit. Accommodations, gated parking, ambiance, historic touches, breakfast - all amazing. Walkable to Little Caesars, Comerica Park, Majestic Theatre, Fox … Midtown is awesome as well
