Everything about this place is magical. The super helpful and friendly staff, the location where you can walk 500 ft and be in front of something fun, and the overall esthetic inside and out

We stayed at the El Moore in mid June for two nights. What a gem of a hotel! There is secure gated parking, daily breakfast and coffee and it's situated in a great location close to the Detroit Institute of Art. There are many walkable options from the hotel for food, drinks, shopping and entertainment. I highly recommend. We're coming back to Detroit in the spring of '27 and I've already booked our room here and I'm looking forward to coming back.
Loved this beautifully restored historic property in the Midtown neighborhood of Detroit near Wayne State that looks like a mini-castle. Amenities include a nice continental breakfast each morning and 24-hour coffee and tea with an amazing variety of teas. The property has a garden and a little grocery with a coffee bar and prepared foods. The staff is super-friendly and helpful and visitors are treated like family.
