Had to put my 20 year old cat to sleep this morning and everyone made us feel at ease and more importantly they kept my cat calm.
Everyone is very nice and professional. The hospital is extremely clean. Doctors are down to earth. They explain everything and provide options. I’ve been taking my pets to El Monte Dog & Cat Hospital since I was a kid. A very longtime. Ruby has had two surgeries there. They took excellent care of my beloved fur baby. They didn’t mind me calling every 1/2 hour checking on her. I’ve never had a bad experience taking my pets to El Monte Dog & Cat. And I’ve been going there since the 70’s.
This hospital and its staff has always done right by my pet children. It is clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. It is not a death trap and I take offense at that remark because it is so far from the truth.

This place is a death sentence. Very unsafe and exposes your pets to various viruses and diseases. This facility doesn't sterilize their exam tables or equipment. Don't be fooled by their friendliness and service. Don't bring your pets here.
