What Brunch? – I've been to El Mirador several times for lunch and have never been disappointed but with breaksfast (not brunch) however, it was as if we were at a completely different restaurant. They opened 10 minutes late and the service was slow and left a lot to be desired (long wait, warm coffee). We Sought it Out and it Delivered! – We planned our trip to San Antonio on the web and came across El Mirador - it sounded great, so when we were there we deliberately sought out the restaurant... and it was fabulous! The tortilla soup was absolutely authentic, as were the entrees. Although the ambience needs a little work, the overall experience was very satisfying and we would defintely go back. Seek out El Mirador yourself and see what we - and other reviewers - have to rave about!
