Very good. The salsa was made from fresh tomatoes, not with a base of canned tomato sauce like some places. The chips seemed like maybe they were cooked there-nice. I had a chimichanga and hubs had the chili rellano with ground beef. Both were good and we didn't feel over salted. Service was OK, but they quickly became overwhelmed by a large party. I would go again if in Perkins.
I Love it! I moved to Stillwater,Oklahoma at the end of February this year. Never been to Oklahoma before. I found the best Mexican restaurant around here in Perkins. El Mexicano!
There are some really exciting things going on in the Perkins OK area! Stopped into El Mexicano in Perkins, OK and tried the Pescado a la Mexicana. Whoa this was awesome! Fish fillet cooked in lemon garlic butter and topped with shrimp, sauteed onions, jalapenos and tomatoes. Served with Spanish rice, refried beans and sliced avocados. Next time you're driving through Perkins don't miss this place!!
Love El Mexicano. I live on Okc but when I get a chance to go to Perkins I try to eat here. This visit was good as always, except the salsa was very hot compared to what has been in the past Have you changed your recipe or just extra jalopenos that day??? Wasn't satisfied with the salsa, or I would have rated 5 star. I Love Love Love the white queso cheese!!!
The salsa is my only issue. It taste just Iike water. Other than that it's pretty good!
It was perfect for what we were craving. Met all expectations. We will go again the next time we are in town. Thank you to the staff as well.
