excellent food, super service. we were there for breakfast - had burritos, torta and some of the other classics along with chips salsa and guacamole. all we're excellent, serving are huge!
Great place and great service! I have been going there for years ever since they started at their first place a few buildings down from where they are now ! I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant for the real authentic Mexican food !
The food was outstanding. Hearty portions with delicious flavor. The waitresses were very friendly and the service throughout our meal was very good. We sat on the patio with our small dog when we saw other dogs were welcome there. They even brought her a bowl of cold water. The only minor inconvenience was their internet was down and we could not use debit card. Luckily we had cash but like most people we primarily use plastic to pay. Would definitely recommend El Maguey to friends and will absolutely eat there again!

Nice moderately priced restaurant. Good food and service. Sit on the patio. You'll love it.
My second visit to El Maguey can't say enough about their exceptional service they always make you feel welcome. I've had their carnitas plate and today had the carnitas with a chile relleno plate delicious! Oh and can't forget my tasty Sangria.
This is a great, authentic Mexican restaurant, we were greeted by the waitress and were told that our puppy was aloud at the patio and the margaritas were great and the fajitas were to die for, I would recommend this Restaurant to anyone!
Celebrated my birthday here last year! The food is amazing! I will come here each time I am in California!
