Voted Best Mexican Honestly... I went to El Gringo Redondo because they are always voted BEST MEXICAN by the local papers. Now I think i know why. It is better than a hole in the wall, but its not corporate. It has a local wait staff, great food, but its a casual atmosphere. El Gringo is perfect for meeting with friends or family. Be careful though, the portions are HUGE! I will be back
A treasure in the South Bay I love this little hole in the wall! Great, fresh Mexican food at a great price with quick, friendly service. They also offer healthy alternatives for those watching the calories, but wanting the spice!
Great restaurant Portions are HUGE (enough for lunch the next day). Service was prompt and courteous. Prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Mahi Mahi burrito and the fresh salsa are not to be missed!
El Gringo Redondo This restaurant has reliably excellent food! Very casual atmosphere, prompt service, take out available. Prices are a bit higher than average Mexican food, but portions are large enough that they can be shared. A great place to go with friends, not as kid friendly, but my kids love the food.
mahi burrito My husband loves Brads Tacos here (he gets 2 chicken asada, 2 pork). I love the Mahi Mahi burrito. DEpending on the day, their freshly made salsas are medium to HOT.
bean burrito, wet Im not sure why, but out of the 3 El Gringo's, this one has the best bean burritos! I think its the beans. and you must order it wet. Im usually not a fan of the wet burritos but trust me. You wont be disappointed.
Yum Everyone loves Taco Tuesdays! And 1/2 price Sangria night! Who wouldn't. Even without the special taco deal, we get tacos to go from El Gringo at least once a week. The Mahi Mahi & Pollo Negro tacos are my favorite.
small size, but great food! El Gringo at this location may be small (from the outside), but they can seat a large party--my husband likes to meet his buddies there for lunch during the work week, and sometimes I join them. The food is great, and the servings are generous. They have great deals for lunch, and if you are a Mattel employee, you get a 20% discount.
