least fav of the the El Gringos They only serve wine-based mixed drinks here--beware! I'm definately not a fan. And the service here can be a joke. The food is great (it's El Gringo afterall!) but overall, I stay away.
Local Dive Now i am on a mission to visit all of the El Gringos. I think there are only three? This one is very good! Much more of a hole in the wall, but the food is superb. The building looks like it is 100 years old-with a roof top sun deck non the less. If you are looking to go to a corporate restaurant, this is not your place. However, when i was there for lunch, it was packed with locals. i'll be back.
fun The soup is great. I love the patio. If you have a big party then you can just sit up on the patio and watch the sunset over the pier.
Great, cheap Mexican food. Situated a block off the beach on Hermosa Ave in north Hermosa, it has a small indoor seating area (~10 tables) and a patio on the roof with plastic chairs and tables. Cheap tacos every Taco Tuesday.

The classic Tacos here are some of the best I've ever had. Go on Taco Tuesday and get yourself some grub, you won't regret it!
Though I would never get the diablo burrito again unless extremely hungry and in the need for spice, this little joint serves up many good food options. Usually a day trip to the beach requires a stop in.
BEST beach vibe Mexican in the South Bay hands down.
