When we walked into Sedalia on the KATY Trail, we saw that there was a small path from the trail leading down to El Espolón Mexican restaurant. We had just walked through a heavy rainstorm, so when we arrived we were hungry, tired, and soaking wet. Carlos, our server, was really nice, service was great. We got tacos and a chili relleno, my boyfriend got a steak and cheese burrito. Everything was great, and we even had leftovers to enjoy in the hotel later.
I havent tried the small taquerias in town, but of the 2 big names, El Espalon is the superior food in comparison to El Tapatio! I would urge you to try this dish as well. So, so delicious. The Margaritas arent skimpy either. Happy to leave this 5 star review after my visit.
The most absolutely best presidente margarita!! The molcajete was abundant. It was a little dry but edible. Husband it all it all platter. He was so happy how good it tasted. Too much for one person. He loved the variety and tasted everything.
