Great place to grind three rolled con guac. Funny cook in the back.
Only eaten the rolled taco combo, good stuff and always open!
I Ordered A California Burrito, Which Was Ok No Flavor, But Towards The End Of Finishing My Burrito My Hands Got Oily. My Burrito Was Dripping Oil, No Bueno!
El Compardre is your typical drive through Taco Shop. I like it's 24 hour service. It has good food for a reasonable price, workers are polite and hospitable. I am always driving through El Cajon at odd hours, this place is convenient. If your looking for a sit down Mexican restaurant this is not for you.
In the land of great taco shops this is average...No Restroom on site ( not for customers) is a huge issue with me . The food is good but the salsa is Ehh .

My family and I have been enjoying El Compadre for years now. This is the only taco shop that all of my family loves. Great food, friendly staff and quick service.
