I eat at El Compadre at least once a week. Sometimes more. I am living a lower carb life-style and my friends at El Compadre are happy and creative to accommodate. The food is delicious and has become the standard by which I judge all Mexican restaurants. The House Dressing gives me life. I use it as a dip for chips and as a sauce over my entree. Best Mexican food I've had. My husband and son ordered a soup by mistake and loved it. They NEVER eat soup. The staff are super friendly and service was wonderful.

Best Mexican Restaurant in town. Love the Camarones El Comprades, there fantastic. The Molcajete is another fantastic meal for two.
We went for a going away dinner for my mother, and although the food was decent, the service was horrible. After taking drinks and food that weren't finished yet, the server dropped the check off, then came back and said "he gave us the wrong table's ticket." He forgot to add drinks, then brought back the same one. This is definitely the last time we'll be back here. Save your time and frustration, and go down the road.
This is one of the best Mexican restaurants of all times. There are a huge variety of dishes to choose from-none of them will disappoint. It is a family owned restaurant, making it a quaint, cozy place to eat. The service is outstanding.
