About this business

A Southwestern landmark for almost 70 years, the lodge is one of the longest-running restaurants in the Valley. One of the area's best locations, at the base of Camelback Mountain, makes this a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. The patio is a renowned gathering place for cocktails, sunset views and dining. Classic continental specialties are well prepared and served by a veteran staff. The famous "sticky buns" are served with every meal, as they have been for decades. Happy hours are on from 4p to 6p daily.

This was our second visit to El Chorro. On our honeymoon last September and this year for our anniversary. On both occasions we were not disappointed. Love the service and the food. But is it me . . . Or are all the servers from Chicago?

I dined at El Churro's for a AAVSB Conference last night 9/22/16. I have food sensitivities and allergies. It makes eating out scary, challenging and no fun!. They did a Magnificent job "creating" something I could eat. They were very kind and respectful. It was delicious and well presented. So Grateful for their hospitality and this experience :)

Wonderful setting for a lovely dinner with friends. The menu options held several selections for our eclectic taste. Everyone loved their dinner, and you know how hard women are to please. One of my friends mentioned to the waitress a food allergy and she had the chef come to our table to discuss her options and how he could adapt to provide her a safe meal. Everyone was friendly and attentive from the hostess, waitress, to the valet. If ever in Phoenix, will not hesitate to come ... read more

Disappointed. Have been going here for years. Husbands bone in rib eye returned twice. Quality doesn't match prices. Service mediocre. Miss the older women servers from years ago. With all of the high end restaurants in town, this one is slipping
