My family & I ate here for lunch after going to Hearst Castle. We read the reviews and we were craving Mexican , so we came. The place is really busy, & the waiters are nice. But since it's packed , they don't come to you when you need them. We ordered fajitas , but we got them at least twenty minutes later. Everything we got was LATE. DON'T ORDER MORE TORTILLAS , THEY COST EXTRA.
fresh food, slow service love the fresh ingredients, but the service could use some serious work. not the friendliest staff, very slow to get served. took ages to get our meal.

We ate here once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times we got the angus burger from hearst angus beef. Delicious burger and sweet potatoe fries. Its 10.25 and you also get unlimited chips / salsa. Overall happy
A delightful experience – I had dinner at El Chorlito earlier this evening and could not have been more pleased. First, Aubrey was so friendly and helpful with her suggestions for my drive north tomorrow – I can’t wait to see the places she told me about. Her recommendations for dinner were spot on – she pointed out several possibilities, and I chose the Scallops. Fantastic! I am so glad I asked. The best Mexican food in the area. – El Chorlito is a great Mexican restaurant in an area of not-too-good choices. The chips and salsa are fine. The beer and wine only liquor restriction still allows for some pretty good Margaritas using a low-proof version of Tequila. The menu selections are very extensive, the only weakness, not a lot of seafood items, but enough to satisfy most diners.
