I don't usually do reviews but tonight was terrible took more than 20 min to get our water, our drinks (blackberry margarita) were peach in color and then the waitress argued that a pork filled burrito was a chili relleno I try to support local business and don't expect 5 star quality but I was severely dissatisfied and will not return
Literally the worst service I've had at any restaurant. Rude waitress, didn't bring out half the order so we reminded her what we ordered! when we finally got the rest it was all wrong, and she kept telling us we were wrong. And this is not the first time this has happened there. We will not be going back.
The Colarado Chili is the best!! I have that everytime I go there.

The rumor mill is in overdrive again!! El Chicano is alive and in business we are not sold not goin anywhere. Only the building is for sale not El Chicano. BEST Mexican resturant in Kodiak The BEST place to get authentic mexican food in Kodiak. The staff is VERY friendly, prices are right, food is great, portions great as well. Too much good things to say about this resturant.
Mexican Food El Chicanos is one of the only mexican food restaurants in town. It is a great place to take the whole family with the casual atmosphere and simple menu items like quesadillas that even the pickiest eater will eat.
