I had never been to El Charro before and everything was quite good.
We came to El Charro Mexican restaurant to see what the hype was all about.... Service was not good at all, our waiter was very slow and seemed preoccupied with other things and I have had better green corn tamales. Very disappointed. We won't be back.
I didn't know this was a chain until seeing the locations on Facebook. Now this makes sense. Stopped by today for the first time because we parked close by and were famished. I wish we had gone further down the street. The rice was incredibly bland and the shredded beef in the chimichanga has no flavor or seasoning. The last 2 times I have ordered delivery, I have had a horrible experience. First time it took over 3 hours to get my food. 2nd was tonight and when the order arrived half our food was burnt and we were missing several items on our order. On a positive note they always apologize and refund the money. And when ordering in, I have never had a problem with my food. My recommendation is to always dine in.
Service was horrible, waitress basically tossed our plates at us. Food would have to improve to be considered disappointing. From being one of Prescott's jewels when my family used to come here this place has gone to the dogs.
Horrible service, ordered a hamburger for my 7yr old niece and the meat was completely raw. Did my cousin's order wrong, my mother's carne azada was burned and my sister in law's food was never served. Definitely not going back to that place.
My family and I have been going to El Charro for over 25 years. We love the food, the atmosphere, and the staff. To the people that are unhappy with their food I hope that you told your server and gave them the chance to make it right. I give El Charro 5 stars.
