One of the best restaurants around. They have great food, great service, and the absolute best salsa of any Mexican restaurant in the area.

We love the food; the fast service; clean atmosphere; friendly staff and the prices. This is our 'go to' place when our family of 5 can't decide.
We LOVE El Charro! Best Mexican food in the Bluegrass. My husband loves all of the seafood dishes - fresh and flavorful, while I enjoy trying all of the other dishes! Great for lunch or dinner - and When the Wildcats are playing... they're on at El Charro!
Best Mexican restaurant in Lexington by far. We eat there often.
Food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable!
I will never go back. My chimichanga was way too dry. I asked for more cheese sauce and they charged me $2.00. expressed our disappointment and they did not care or make it right. I guess that's one way for them to get extra money, is to make it dry so we will ask for more.
