About this business

The owners of El Camino boast a number of great city bars to their credit, and this downtown dive lives up to that reputation. A quintessential Tex-Mex joint, savor delectable Mexican staples and regional beer alternatives. Head to the bar, back-dropped by a gigantic sailfish model, for an impressive Tequila selection. The national drink of sorts blends well to create classic cocktails like the margarita and gimlet. My daughter and I had the chicken taco supreme and Carne asada taco supreme. The chicken wasn't bad, but the Carne asada tasted like it sat in the fridge for several days and was a little tough. I like the skirt steak for carne asada. The guacamole was good, but the salsa was a little off. Margaritas were great. We will be back to try it again. The service was great. Hoping to give it a 5 next time.

An institution of Columbus. The food is awesome. The music is great. The booze is cheap. The staff are friends.

The food and margaritas were exceptional. Coming from the west coast I can be somewhat of a snob about Mexican food but this was on par. The chorizo tacos were everything!!!

The food was good but the server brought our boxes and took our guacamole and salsa when we were still eating it. She didn't ask is if we were done, she just took it. And it's not free, you have to pay for chips, salsa and guacamole. Please tell your servers to ask before removing something that a customer paid for!
