Good food, taste great, we come from Sandy Or. to eat.
One of the staff members was extremely rude and unkind to my daughter who is unable to wear a mask due to medical reasons. She is also 12 and under. She was very shaming and sent my daughter outside (in tears). It wasn't crowded, no one was within six feet of us. It was very upsetting. This was our favorite place to eat after skiing for years. Sadly, I will not be returning nor will I recommend it anymore.
We just are our last meal at the Burro last night. After 14 years of raving about our favorite restaurant and highly recommending it to our friends, family and airbnb guests....those days are gone. As is the fabulous pulled pork & smoky lard beans. The Burro is now your run-of-the-mill Mexican place. Their meats are boiled now instead of smoked and our taco tortillas fell apart in our hands the first time we picked them up. These guys are doing all of the right things to help build confidence in going out again! Was spotlessly clean and they had all of the proper protection and spacing in place - I was able to have my second meal out in months and feel safe. And the pork belly melted in my mouth! The new owners have worked hard to upgrade the space and it shows!
