This is a neat restaurant in the historic area of Granbury. The steaks were great, as were the mashed potatoes. The green veggies (green beans and spinach) had too much seasoning/extra ingredients for my liking. Extensive wine list was impressive. The waiter wasn't very attentive. We specifically asked if their were onions in one of the sides, which is said no. Turns out the side had onions, peppers and other ingredients.
There was a group of 8 of us. Zach waited on us. He was great, not stuffy. I was surprised that there were only two steaks on the menu. Started with the trio. Best thing I ate. Then the wdge. The lettuce was super cold. Very good. I had the ribeye, cooked perfect with some blue cheese on top. My wife had the mediterranean portobello mushrooms with grilled shrimp. It was ok. Did not have room for desert but it looked good. Overall nice experience, but pricey. Plan on about $100 per person with drinks.
We are locals and this is always our place for special occasions. We love the Texas Trilogy and always order this. This is an appetizer but I couldn't believe how small the pieces of meat were. The bacon wrapped quail was so small I'm not convinced that there was quail inside the bacon. The artichoke and spinach dip was more like a soup than a dip and the taste was off.
