Called for an ambulance one came and then one of the paramedics tried to tell me that I didnt need an ambulance and that it was a waste of her time and that they won't do anything for me at the hospital. So then I proceed to try to leave the ambulance after she told me that I should just take a Tylenol and go to bed. So I demanded that they take me in to the hospital when we get there she tells the triage nurses that I was aggressive with her and that there isn't anything wrong with me. We had called for an ambulance and they showed up within an hour. Mike & Emma were the paramedics. They were excellent. They stayed with me in the hospital for about 6 hrs. They were very kind & caring . While I waited in the hospital also met paramedic David. He was very helpful. He was ki d & caring.
On May 2, 2023 my elderly relative had fallen while visiting a woman he has been friends with for a few years. He is American and was staying with her at her apartment. On May 3rd he had a much more serious fall. He fell in the bathroom and hit his shoulder against the door, and possibly hit his head as well. The paramedics were called and being his vitals seemed ok, they didn’t take him to the hospital. He is elderly, on blood thinners, had 2 “falls” in 2 days & stated he may have hit his head.
