I moved out of town, but keep going back – This place is probably the best dentist experience I've had, and I've had a lot of dentists. Everyone is very nice and personable. They do an excellent job with cleanings and take time to explain things. Even though I moved out of town, I still go out of my way to have my dental work done there.

terrible dentist experience – I went th Noe Valley Dentistry on the above review and because I am in the neighborhood. I saw Dr Morris (for about 5 minutes) to have her fix a broken filling that was a few week old and not causing any pain. She could not do the work that day (because of a health issue I had) so she put in a temporary. I didn't need a temorary, she didn't ask she just did it. Scientific and accurate – One of the things I like best about Joy is the fact that she regularly measures each tooth pocket by calling out depth measurements to her hygenist. This way she can track any receding gum or potential gingivitis. She is not nearly as "gung ho" to take out every little potential cavity as other dentists I've had, which I appreciate. To me that means she's not just mining my mouth for money. I'm impressed with her whole operation. Also, the hygenists are extremely thorough.
