Doctor is knowledgeable about numerous conditions I have and I’m treated kindly and without judgement.
Dr Cubillo is great IF YOU CAN GET AN APPOINTMENT. Pima Institute of so AZ (PISA) has instituted unfriendly policies for patients. Hard to schedule appointments. In spite of having many offices across town, you are restricted to whatever office they assign you- even if it’s an hour away. Very sad that they make it so hard. I will probably switch out of their practice
My grandaughter requested a consult regarding implantation of a DRG stimulator for CRPS Type I. Cubillo reviewed records from another staff member at PISA, and refused a consultation. I have already reviewed the other physician, Cornidez, who dismissed her 10 years of well documented suffering from CRPS Type I as "drug seeking". Don't trust this person to listen or understand you and provide care.
Dr. Cubillo is without a doubt the best Doctor I have ever met. I had not walked standing straight for years. Dr. Cubillo's diagnose and treatment had me upright and pain-free... He is personable and caring.. Hands down Best Doctor!
Excellent initial assesment exam despite limitations of virtual visit due to covid.
I found Dr. Cubillo to be a caring and totally professional physician that I felt cared about the issues going on in my leg and foot due to a previous botched back surgery in a different state. His staff was courteous and I was taken back to the procedure room relatively quickly. I like Dr. Cubillo and will be seeing him again.
I am grateful to have met Dr Cubillo. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, and does not push pills. I have had chronic pain for over 20 years and it is refreshing and effective to have a doctor like Dr Cubillo.
I came to Dr. Cubillo in great pain but not knowing anything about him. He listens, is kind, considerate,so soothing and solely interested in making me feel better. I travel from Green Valley to Tucson solely for Dr. Cubillo and while I'd love the Pain Institute of Southern Arizona to have a procedural office in Green Valley I'll continue to visit him in Tucson.
Both Dr. Cubillo and his assistant were very aggressive with me regarding medications. They both cut me off and were abrupt. They blocked any communication from me. I ended up without any pain killer what-so-ever only a muscle relaxant. I have failed back syndrone, three prior back surgeries and a history of chronic pain going back twenty years.
