We bought 3 AC/Heating units for our four-thousand square foot home in November of 2022. We were recommended Efficient Home Solutions by our general contractor during a recent remodel, where we wanted to adjust a vent for a room that was being closed off. ***** and ******, came to the house, listened to our concerns about the quality of our existing central HVAC system and began investigating. ***** noticed that the original HVAC system did not have properly sized return vent volumes, which was causing the unit to not be as efficient. Dring was called to fix my noisy, but functioning, furnace. 5 minutes after they arrived they announced that it was a blower and motor that needed to be replaced. Approx. cost *******. Their recommendation was to replace the furnace for around $6000. I said no thanks.I called Efficient Home Solutions on a Saturday at 8am (in advance of the hard freeze). My AC went out on the 4th of July. Called Efficient Home solutions. The response was quick. I got charged $478 for a blown capacitor. The $189 trip fee which I was told upfront was fair for a Holiday weekend. However, the 289$ for a Capacitor that at most costs 20$ was not. It was Price Gouging.

Efficient Home Solutions came to our home to do an evaluation on the why some rooms were hot while others were freezing. They recommended attic insulation. My husband was skeptical as he is with everything and everyone related to construction or home services. He finally agreed and the insulation was installed.
