We interviewed 3 contractors for improvements to our attic ventilation. ****** from Efficient Home Solutions gave us a couple of options and recommended the simplest and least expensive option. Unlike other contractors we interviewed he did not try to upsell us on expensive unnecessary options. He was very professional and was always timely. The company was very responsive and easy to reach. We would definitely use them for any future roofing needs.

It was 82 degrees in the house and the weekend. Needed repairs asap and *** rescued us efficiently without adding on anything unnecessary. He was pleasant and professional, the cost was about what I expected for weekend rescues, and he even did a quick check of the system after the repairs as an added safety measure for no charge. My AC compressor stopped working due to the capacitor failing. Called the front office to schedule appointment. They said don't quote pricing and just that the trip charge would be $99 (weekday afternoon hours and I'm nearby). I assumed the trip charge would count toward to total repair cost like all the other companies. Front desk told me the technician would call on the way and I can ask about pricing then. The technician called and quoted $289 for capacitor + $99 trip charge, total $388. With 2 small children (1 sick) and... read more

This client system was fixed at a discounted price for the total ticket, he was given a 1yr warranty on the part and he did a have a choice not to accept the price and the technician would have moved on to his next call. We did offer to go out and removed the part if he wanted and he did not want us to do that. either.
Was charged $594 to replace a capacitor. The trip fee of $189 I agreed to, but $445.36 for a capacitor? Please. When i questioned why so much, the tech told me he put in a "special capacitor that works with all". Last I checked capacitors were like $20!I think this is unscrupulous business practice, and price gouging. *** noticed several other simiar complaints from others especially on yelp and even on BBB review.I just dont think it makes business sense to price ***** and to to run an honest business this way. It was $149 for the service call and $445 for the capacitor for a total of $594.When we spoke in person over the and I gave you the option of a less expensive service call on a normal business day, you chose the Sunday Late night service call. When the technician shared the price with you over the phone, you had the option to not purchase the capacitor, however you chose to purchase the capacitor and get your tenant up and cooing.
