I had a terrible experience with Efata. Don't be fooled by Ricardo and his willingness to get the bid, the job, and take the down payment. Be very cautious with this company and Ricardo because, once they have you scheduled, and have your money, they don't care about doing a quality job - they will try to do the job as fast as possible, with errors, issues, and waste. Efata has cost me over $1000 in repairs and loss of materials! Shame on Ricardo and his company - he is running around St. Charles and St. Louis getting jobs, ... read more
Avoid! I hired Efata for bathroom tile and their prep work was horrible. When I pointed out concerns they said "it's not a problem" which was wrong. I had 5 other tile contractor bids and they all said their prep work is an issue and would cause leaks. Efata is all about doing the job as fast as possible with no quality and I I strongly do not recommend.
BEWARE: Terrible experience from Ricardo and Efata. Run away now! Do not use Efata or Ricardo. He subs out the work and the quality is really bad. I'm not the type of person to give people 1 star reviews, this one star review is not only about making mistakes - it's about making mistakes and not taking ownership of the mistake and a willingness to fix them. Ricardo was great to work with — very professional and responsive. His team did a fantastic job installing flooring throughout our basement and I will definitely use them again.
